Position Overview:
We are looking for a nurturing caregiver who is patient, attentive, and passionate about working with children. The ideal candidate enjoys engaging with children through play, learning activities, frequent field trips to the Zoo, Arboretum, Nature Centers, parks and daily routines while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, compassionate care to children of varying ages.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
- Assist with daily routines including meals, rest time, and hygiene.
- Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and team members.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe space.
- Follow all licensing and safety requirements.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children (child care, preschool, nannying, etc.) preferred.
- Genuine passion for child development and well-being.
- Reliable, responsible, and team-oriented.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must be willing to meet state licensing requirements (background study, CPR, childcare training etc.)
